A Day in the Life

Are you passionate about healthcare innovation and eager to build a rewarding career in medical technology? We are seeking a committed professional to join our Accelerated Technologies team.

As Technical Consultant, you will be part of a highly collaborative and customer-focused team dedicated to supporting advanced medical technologies and improving patient outcomes. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience, develop technical expertise, and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals. Working alongside experienced commercial and clinical teams, you will contribute to the successful adoption of innovative therapies while continuously expanding your professional skills and career opportunities within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role will report to the Accelerated Technologies Business Leader for Romania and Moldova and will require 60-70% of traveling across the area of responsibility: Romania (direct business model) & Moldova (channel partners).

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide expert technical consultancy and support to healthcare professionals on Neurovascular and Peripheral-Vascular portfolio, systems and digital solutions
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of connected care technologies within hospital environments
  • Deliver product training and technical education to clinicians and hospital staff, ensuring confident and effective use of Medtronic solutions
  • Partner with customers to identify workflow improvements and recommend technology solutions that enhance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Support the integration of Medtronic systems with hospital IT infrastructure, working collaboratively with customer IT teams and internal stakeholders
  • Act as the technical lead for customer projects, ensuring successful delivery, regulatory compliance, and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Provide technical expertise during customer evaluations, tenders, and product deployments, while supporting the adoption of new technologies and services.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience within Neurovascular, Peripheral, medical devices, healthcare IT, or a related clinical environment
  • A background in software, computer technology, biomedical engineering, or a similar technical discipline
  • Experience working with hospitals and clinical teams
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
