About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Technical Architect — Agentforce & Revenue Cloud is a technically deep, execution-focused architect responsible for designing and delivering migrations from legacy CPQ, billing and configure-price-quote platforms (Apttus/Conga, Zuora, Oracle CPQ, custom-built CPQ) to Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ + Billing + Revenue Lifecycle Management). This role also covers the design and deployment of Agentforce — Salesforce's agentic AI platform — to automate and augment revenue processes post-migration. As a member of the Strategic Migration CoE and Migration Factory, you will own the solution design, product catalogue migration, pricing rule architecture, contract and subscription migration strategy, billing migration design and Agentforce agent configuration for revenue use cases. You will act as the primary technical authority bridging legacy quote-to-cash logic and Salesforce Revenue Cloud's native capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the Technical Lead for Revenue Cloud migration workstreams, architecting the end-to-end transition from legacy CPQ/billing platforms to Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing and Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM).
Design the product catalogue and pricing migration strategy — mapping legacy product hierarchies, bundle structures, SKUs, price books, discount schedules and pricing waterfall logic to Salesforce CPQ native features.
Own the contract and subscription migration architecture — migrating active contracts, amendments, renewals, subscriptions and asset records from legacy platforms with full relationship integrity and history preservation.
Architect the billing migration strategy — migrating invoice history, payment records, billing schedules, usage data, credit notes and tax records to Salesforce Billing while maintaining ERP reconciliation accuracy.
Design Agentforce agent configurations for revenue use cases — including quote-assist agents, renewal agents, deal desk agents and revenue operations agents that augment migrated Revenue Cloud processes post go-live.
Define end-to-end data lineage for all Revenue Cloud objects — including quote, order, contract, asset, billing and revenue recognition — covering profiling, cleansing, transformation and reconciliation.
Lead functional and technical discovery workshops with client revenue operations, finance and sales teams to uncover complex CPQ logic, pricing exceptions, approval hierarchies and legacy billing rules.
Manage the functional depth of Source vs. Target systems — maintaining deep understanding of how legacy CPQ pricing logic, approval matrices and billing rules translate into Salesforce CPQ and Billing native features vs custom build.
Design ERP integration architecture for revenue recognition, AR and GL posting — ensuring migrated billing data flows correctly to SAP, Oracle or NetSuite post go-live.
Serve as a Trusted Advisor to the client, driving conversations with CFOs, Revenue Operations leaders and Enterprise Architects to shape the Revenue Cloud migration roadmap, revenue recognition strategy and Agentforce adoption vision.
Establish best-in-class standards for the Revenue Cloud migration practice — building reusable CPQ config templates, pricing rule patterns, billing migration scripts and Agentforce prompt templates as factory accelerators.
Lead cutover planning and execution — including product catalogue freeze, final contract migration sequencing, billing system cutover, ERP sync validation and post-migration reconciliation against legacy billing system.
Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively — pricing rule conflicts, contract relationship data skew, ERP posting mismatches, CPQ governor limits during bulk quote generation and Agentforce agent hallucination risks in revenue contexts.
Contribute to the Migration Factory by building reusable Revenue Cloud and Agentforce migration playbooks, config accelerators and cutover runbooks, reducing wave delivery time with each iteration.
CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS — MUST HAVE
Salesforce CPQ Deep Expertise: Advanced configuration of product rules, pricing rules, discount schedules, guided selling, approval workflows, quote templates and amendment/renewal logic.
Salesforce Billing: Hands-on experience with billing schedules, invoice generation, usage-based billing, payment gateway integrations (Stripe, Adyen, Zuora), tax engine integration and dunning workflows.
Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM): Understanding of Salesforce RLM — dynamic revenue contracts, asset lifecycle management and flexible pricing models.
Agentforce Platform: Knowledge of Agentforce agent design — agent topics, instructions, actions and guardrails — for revenue operations use cases (quote assist, renewal, deal desk).
Product Catalogue & Pricing Migration: Proven expertise in migrating complex product hierarchies, bundle configurations and multi-tiered pricing logic from legacy CPQ platforms.
Contract & Subscription Data Migration: Deep experience migrating active contracts, subscriptions, amendments and asset records with full relationship integrity at enterprise scale.
Revenue Recognition: Understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition rules and how they map to Salesforce Billing revenue schedules and ERP posting.
Integration Architecture: REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, ERP integration patterns (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite), payment gateway integrations and middleware (MuleSoft/Boomi).
Data Architecture & LDV: Master-level understanding of CPQ data model, quote line relationships, contract hierarchies and Large Data Volume strategies for billing objects.
PREFERRED SKILLS — GOOD TO HAVE
Experience migrating from Apttus/Conga CPQ, Zuora, Oracle CPQ, Salesforce Classic CPQ (Big Machines) or custom-built CPQ to Salesforce Revenue Cloud
Hands-on experience with ETL tools — Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft — for high-volume contract and billing data migration
