Medical Lab Technician - Histocompatibility Laboratory

Role responsibilities

Perform complex laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, cells, and tissues to identify microorganisms and analyze chemical content. Conduct blood cross-matching for transfusions and organ transplantations and prepare cells for cellular therapies.

Requirements

Requires an Associate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology or an equivalent degree with specific chemistry and biology credits. Must be eligible for or obtain ASCP, AMT, or ACHI certification within 18 months of employment.
