The Oracle Health Medication Administration team is responsible for delivering innovative solutions that help clinicians safely and efficiently administer medications across acute, ambulatory, and specialty care settings. Medication administration is one of the most critical moments in healthcare delivery, directly impacting patient safety, clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and clinician satisfaction.

Our mission is to transform medication administration through modern, intelligent, and highly integrated experiences that reduce cognitive burden, streamline clinical workflows, and improve patient safety. We are reimagining medication administration by combining workflow optimization, interoperability, mobile experiences, clinical decision support, barcode medication administration (BCMA), device integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities into a unified product strategy.

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to define and drive the future vision, strategy, and execution of medication administration across the Oracle Health Electronic Health Record platform. This individual will serve as a product leader responsible for shaping long-term product direction, influencing investment priorities, and driving high-impact initiatives that improve the experiences of clinicians and patients alike.

The ideal candidate combines strong product leadership with exceptional execution capabilities and a passion for solving complex workflow challenges. You will work across engineering, UX, clinical stakeholders, customers, interoperability teams, consulting organizations, and executive leadership to deliver innovative solutions that create measurable customer and business value.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can operate comfortably across product vision, customer discovery, roadmap planning, and delivery execution while influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations and disciplines.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience with a proven track record of owning product strategy, roadmap development, and successful delivery of complex software products.
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, UX, operations, customer-facing teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product vision, influence investment decisions, and drive measurable business and customer outcomes.
  • Strong customer discovery, product strategy, prioritization, and roadmap management skills.
  • Experience developing product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business cases for enterprise software products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data and customer insights to guide decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Healthcare IT, Clinical Informatics, Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Digital Health, Healthcare Operations, or related healthcare technology domains.
  • Experience with medication administration workflows, medication safety initiatives, pharmacy systems, clinical workflow applications, or healthcare interoperability.
  • Experience leading platform modernization, workflow transformation, or AI-enabled product initiatives.
  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS, workflow automation, intelligent systems, or highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with barcode medication administration (BCMA), infusion management, smart device integrations, interoperability standards, clinical decision support, or related healthcare technologies.
  • Experience engaging directly with executive stakeholders and large enterprise customers.
  • MBA, advanced technical degree, clinical degree, or equivalent experience.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap Leadership

Define and communicate a compelling product vision for medication administration capabilities across Oracle Health. Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap aligned with customer needs, market opportunities, technology trends, and organizational objectives.

Portfolio Ownership and Prioritization

Own prioritization decisions across a portfolio of medication administration investments. Balance customer commitments, innovation initiatives, regulatory requirements, technical investments, and business objectives to maximize value delivery.

Product Discovery and Market Leadership

Lead customer discovery efforts to identify unmet needs, workflow challenges, and emerging market opportunities. Develop deep understanding of customer problems and translate insights into strategic product investments.

Clinical Workflow Transformation

Drive modernization of medication administration workflows including medication scanning, documentation, infusion management, scheduling, exception handling, device integrations, and intelligent workflow automation. Ensure solutions align with real-world clinical practice while advancing industry-leading user experiences.

AI and Intelligent Automation Strategy

Partner with engineering, data science, and AI teams to identify opportunities where artificial intelligence, predictive insights, and automation can improve clinician efficiency, reduce cognitive burden, enhance patient safety, and streamline workflow execution.

Executive and Customer Engagement

Build relationships with healthcare executives, clinical leaders, product partners, and strategic customers. Represent Oracle Health product strategy in customer engagements, advisory councils, executive briefings, and industry forums.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Influence and align engineering, UX, interoperability, consulting, implementation, quality assurance, customer success, and commercial teams around shared product objectives. Drive decisions across organizational boundaries without direct authority.

Product Requirements and Delivery Excellence

Provide leadership in translating strategy into actionable product requirements, user experiences, and delivery plans. Ensure product teams maintain a strong connection between customer needs, business goals, and execution priorities.

Patient Safety and Regulatory Leadership

Champion patient safety initiatives and ensure solutions support evolving regulatory, accreditation, privacy, security, and medication safety requirements across healthcare markets.

Business Impact and Product Performance

Establish product success metrics and monitor adoption, customer satisfaction, operational outcomes, and business performance. Use quantitative and qualitative insights to continuously refine strategy and investment priorities.

Industry Thought Leadership

Stay current on healthcare technology trends, clinical workflow innovation, AI advancements, interoperability standards, and competitive market dynamics. Help position Oracle Health as a leader in medication administration and medication management innovation.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,300 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
