The Senior Endpoint Engineer | R&D Specialist will drive innovation in device provisioning, security enforcement, and application delivery across hundreds of thousands of endpoints. You will work at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and cybersecurity, supporting mission-critical systems used across a global healthcare ecosystem. The position requires strong expertise in modern desktop management, hybrid cloud integration, and secure configuration practices. You will also contribute to research and development initiatives aimed at improving endpoint delivery frameworks and operational efficiency. This is a high-impact technical role for someone passionate about scalable systems, automation, and enterprise device security at scale.

Accountabilities:

    • Design, engineer, and deploy enterprise endpoint management solutions using tools such as MECM and Microsoft Intune across hybrid environments.
    • Architect and enhance hybrid delivery frameworks supporting SaaS, on-premises, and cloud-based services for large-scale device ecosystems.
    • Develop secure application packaging, OS imaging, and configuration strategies for Windows endpoints in compliance with federal security standards.
    • Implement endpoint security, automation, and mobile device management (MDM) strategies to support enterprise-wide provisioning and lifecycle management.
    • Maintain compliance with DISA STIGs, NIST frameworks, and RMF requirements, including documentation and continuous monitoring in eMASS.
    • Support Tier 3/4 troubleshooting and contribute to endpoint automation and modernization initiatives across distributed systems.
    • Requirements:

      • Extensive experience in endpoint engineering, particularly within hybrid cloud and on-premises enterprise environments.
      • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft MECM (SCCM), Intune, and related endpoint management tools.
      • Proven knowledge of Windows OS environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server), Active Directory, and group policy management.
      • Experience working with federal security frameworks including RMF, DISA STIGs, and Zero Trust principles.
      • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, along with familiarity with Azure and virtualization technologies like Hyper-V.
      • Experience with application packaging and deployment tools such as AdminStudio or WiseScript.
      • Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments.
      • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, or relevant baseline IA/security certification (e.g., Security+, SSCP).
      • Preferred certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102) or Microsoft Intune Administrator.
