Netrix Global is looking for a Senior Security Analyst for the Managed Services – Security department.
We are looking for a people with experienced Senior Security Analyst to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, triaging, and investigating security events across client environments. This role supports timely incident identification, clear client communication, and effective escalation of confirmed or high-risk threats. The Threat Analyst applies technical analysis, threat intelligence,
and documented response procedures to help protect client information assets.rds.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead complex investigations involving multi-stage intrusions, lateral movement, persistence, credential abuse, malware, cloud-based threats, and targeted attacks.
- Serve as an escalation point for analysts during high-priority incidents, complex investigations, and ambiguous security events.
- Analyze SIEM, EDR/XDR, endpoint, network, identity, firewall, IDS/IPS, email, and cloud telemetry to determine scope, impact, root cause, and attack progression.
- Assess whether attacks were successful, identify affected systems or accounts, and provide clear, timely, and defensible client notifications.
- Provide expert guidance during incident response, including recommended containment, eradication, recovery, and monitoring actions.
- Conduct advanced indicator enrichment, malware triage, forensic analysis, and threat hunting to identify additional evidence of compromise.
- Use threat intelligence and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK to support investigations, improve detections, and communicate attacker behavior.
- Review analyst investigations, client notifications, and case documentation for technical accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Develop and improve SOPs, runbooks, response playbooks, knowledge base articles, detection logic, and case handling procedures.
- Mentor analysts through training, coaching, case reviews, knowledge sharing, and guidance on investigative methodology.
- Lead or contribute to post-incident reviews, lessons learned, control gap analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct advanced research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, attacker tactics, detection opportunities, and security operations best practices.
What You Will Bring To The Table
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical findings, risks, and recommended actions clearly to technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
- Proven ability to independently investigate complex security events, correlate data across multiple sources, and produce defensible conclusions.
- 4+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, threat analysis, digital forensics, detection engineering, network security, systems administration, or a related technical role preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, common network services, authentication flows, endpoint behavior, identity infrastructure, and major application layer protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, DNS, SMB, and RDP.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, including firewalls, DMZs, intrusion detection systems, web application architecture, endpoint security, Active Directory, identity providers, cloud platforms, and logging pipelines.
- Deep understanding of malware behavior, common attacker techniques, vulnerabilities, exploitation methods, credential theft, phishing, persistence, lateral movement, command and control, and data exfiltration.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, email security tools, cloud security telemetry, ticketing systems, case management platforms, and threat intelligence sources.
- Advanced network traffic analysis, endpoint analysis, log analysis, and command-line investigation skills across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Ability to mentor analysts, lead technical discussions, develop training material, and provide constructive case review feedback.
- Experience developing SOPs, runbooks, response playbooks, detection logic, knowledge base articles, and operational process improvements.
- Advanced English
