Role Overview:

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Contract Physical Security Systems Support Analyst to support the Corporate Security Systems and Technology team. This contracted position, engaged through an external vendor, will be based in London and serve as the primary UK & EMEA operational resource supporting global break/fix activities, small-scale projects, and follow-the-sun support coverage in partnership with counterparts in the United States.

The Analyst will provide operational and technical support for enterprise physical security systems across global regions, ensuring continuity of service, timely issue resolution, and coordination between EMEA and U.S.-based teams. This role will focus on troubleshooting, vendor coordination, system maintenance, and operational support activities while assisting with smaller regional projects and deployments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable, detail-oriented professional to contribute to a fast-paced global security technology program while gaining exposure to enterprise-level physical security operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Serve as the primary UK & EMEA operational support resource for global physical security system break/fix activities.
  • Support a follow-the-sun operating model in partnership with U.S.-based counterparts to ensure continuous global coverage and timely issue resolution.
  • Manage and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 support tickets globally, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, escalation coordination, and basic repairs.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of enterprise physical security systems including access control, CCTV, visitor management, and mass notification platforms.
  • Coordinate vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and support ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Support small-scale regional and global projects including hardware replacements, system upgrades, migrations, and moves/adds/changes.
  • Assist with regional security system installations and deployment activities, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
  • Collaborate with Global Systems & Technology, Security Operations, IT, Facilities, and external vendors to maintain standardized global processes and system configurations.
  • Provide documentation updates, ticket tracking, operational reporting, and status communications related to support activities.
  • Participate in after-hours or emergency support activities when required to support global operations.
  • Support process improvements and operational efficiencies within the physical security systems environment.
  • Travel throughout EMEA as needed to support system deployments, troubleshooting, and regional operational requirements.

What we're looking for:

  • 2–4 years of experience supporting enterprise physical security systems or related technical support environments.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and supporting physical security platforms such as Genetec, Lenel, CCURE, ExacqVision, or similar systems.
  • Experience managing or coordinating support tickets and vendor service requests.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ticketing or project management tools.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Availability for occasional off-hours work to support global operations and project activities.
