Accountabilities:

    The Systems Support Engineer will provide technical support for enterprise applications and operational environments, ensuring system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, ownership of technical issues, and effective collaboration across teams.

    • Provide advanced technical support and maintain strong client relationships by tracking, analyzing, and resolving ongoing issues.
    • Act as a primary contact for application and database performance-related concerns.
    • Monitor and evaluate application performance using tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar platforms.
    • Analyze complex application, infrastructure, and database performance issues and drive them through resolution.
    • Identify, document, and track defects, known issues, and corrective actions across supported environments.
    • Develop alerts and operational workflows for recurring technical issues.
    • Perform Level 2 troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution for application and system incidents.
    • Support Windows-based application environments, IIS configurations, services, and infrastructure components.
    • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.
    • Participate in technical reviews, status meetings, and leadership updates to communicate progress and risks.
    • Provide support in a 24/7 operational environment with rotational shifts.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate should have experience in application support, system administration, monitoring tools, and technical troubleshooting. The role requires strong analytical skills, customer focus, and the ability to manage complex technical environments.

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
      • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting and monitoring enterprise applications and infrastructure.
      • Hands-on experience with application performance monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar solutions.
      • Experience supporting Windows Server environments and .NET-based applications.
      • Knowledge of IIS, worker processes, web configurations, certificate bindings, and event logs.
      • Understanding of server performance metrics including CPU, memory, queues, I/O, page writes, and performance monitoring tools.
      • Experience with Windows clusters, COM+, and log analysis is beneficial.
      • Basic understanding of networking concepts and Azure monitoring capabilities.
      • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, including queries, SQL jobs, blocking analysis, and high-availability concepts.
      • Experience working with ITSM platforms such as Service Desk or ServiceNow.
      • Familiarity with ITIL processes; ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
      • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for international client support.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach and ability to collaborate across teams.
      • Relevant IT certifications are considered an advantage.
