And you can too, so bring your energy to ours! As an Environmental Specialist II, III, IV, you will need functional and technical expertise and skills in areas of air, water and/or waste. In this role, you will run projects and programs of moderate complexity that require a specialized breadth of expertise. Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Develops, maintains and provides guidance on environmental processes/policiesAssesses environmental risk, provides recommendations to address risk and participates in or runs the approved course of action, including required regulatory documentationPrepares and submits applications to procure environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations and coordinates with company partnersIdentifies environmental training needs and provides training to company partnersAssists with the preparation of all required compliance reports/certifications and development and maintenance of documentation related to environmental compliance programsPerforms environmental compliance audits, as the need arisesPrepares and submits all required compliance reports/certifications; develops and maintains documentation related to environmental compliance programsCultivates relationships between Williams and regulatory agenciesResearches governmental and industry standards for compliance requirements and ensures compliance with such regulationsPrepares and submits all required compliance reports/certifications, plans and inventories to regulatory authoritiesDevelops, recommends and implements improvements for systems and processes in air, water, waste management and/or remediation activities for assigned areasOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor’s degree and minimum eight (8) years’ environmental experienceOther Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills#LI-KR2Why Choose Williams?We are committed to providing our employees with competitive compensation and benefits as part of your Total Rewards package to help protect your current and future physical, emotional, and financial health.
