The Marketing Assistant – Retail Marketing will support the execution and coordination of tactical retail marketing activities across PayJoy South Africa. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent execution of point-of-sale materials, retail branding, agency coordination, PayJoy Connect auditing, and campaign tracking across retail and kiosk environments.

The role is responsible for ensuring consistent execution of point-of-sale materials, retail branding, agency coordination, PayJoy Connect auditing, and campaign tracking across retail and kiosk environments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution and tracking of retail point-of-sale (POS) materials across kiosks and partner stores.
- Support PayJoy Connect auditing and reporting to ensure retail compliance and execution standards are maintained.
- Manage and track deliverables from retail agencies, suppliers, and promoters.
- Assist with the coordination of retail activations, campaigns, gifting, and promotional activities.
- Maintain marketing inventory records and assist with distribution logistics for retail marketing materials.
- Support reporting, administration, and execution tracking related to retail marketing campaigns and activities.
Requirements
- Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Google Workspace
- Familiarity with smartphones and mobile applications
- Experience using project tracking or task management tools is advantageous
- Understanding of retail marketing and point-of-sale execution
- Knowledge of retail environments, kiosks, and in-store activations
- Understanding of agency and supplier coordination
- Exposure to marketing campaign execution and reporting
- Consistent and accurate execution of retail marketing activities
- Improved tracking and accountability of POS and retail campaigns
- Timely coordination of agencies, suppliers, and retail deliverables
- Effective operational support to the marketing department
