Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, roadmaps, implementation plans, action logs, risk registers, dependency trackers, and status reports.
- Coordinate project activities across product owners, project managers, business analysts, technical teams, data teams, communications teams, and government stakeholders.
- Support project governance activities, including project health assessments, charters, RACI documentation, gate reviews, leadership reporting, and performance tracking.
- Monitor project progress against timelines, milestones, and performance objectives while identifying risks, blockers, resource constraints, and dependencies.
- Recommend mitigation strategies and escalate issues when necessary to maintain project momentum.
- Apply Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and PMBOK-aligned practices to support predictable project execution and continuous improvement.
- Support sprint planning, backlog management, retrospectives, project documentation, and version-controlled project artifacts.
- Coordinate technology implementation activities, including testing, integration, deployment readiness, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment reviews.
- Develop and maintain operational readiness materials, including timelines, success metrics, stakeholder plans, training coordination, and deployment documentation.
- Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, track action items, and ensure follow-up through completion.
- Support performance reporting by collecting project metrics, KPIs, milestones, and updates for dashboards and leadership briefings.
- Ensure project activities align with applicable federal policies, security requirements, privacy expectations, accessibility standards, and data-handling procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements and opportunities to increase operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, business transformation, IT implementation, operations support, or a related discipline.
- Experience creating and maintaining project documentation, including schedules, roadmaps, risk logs, status reports, implementation plans, and action trackers.
- Experience coordinating stakeholders, managing dependencies, and supporting delivery against project goals.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and/or PMBOK project management methodologies.
- Experience supporting testing, integration, deployment, operational readiness, change management, or continuous improvement activities.
- Experience working in federal, government, or regulated environments is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and adapt quickly in a changing environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government suitability and public trust clearances.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience supporting government programs, immigration-related services, or other civilian agency initiatives.
- Experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Planner, SharePoint, Teams, Mural, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience supporting executive briefings, governance forums, cross-functional roadmaps, and implementation planning.
- Experience with process mapping, operational metrics, readiness planning, and deployment coordination.
- Ability to quickly understand complex topics and communicate practical solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to remain effective under pressure.
- Remote work flexibility within the United States, with occasional travel for client meetings as required.
