This is a highly visible, customer-facing role responsible for leading packaging development projects, supporting key customer accounts, and driving innovation across food packaging applications.This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex packaging challenges, collaborating with customers, and bringing new packaging solutions from concept through commercialization.What You'll DoPartner with commercial teams to identify and commercialize new flexible packaging opportunities.Lead new product development projects focused on performance, sustainability, manufacturability, and cost optimization.Serve as the primary technical resource for assigned customer accounts.Translate customer requirements into packaging specifications and manufacturing documentation.Manage multiple development projects from concept through production launch.Plan and lead laboratory, pilot, production, and customer filling/packing trials.Analyze test results, make technical recommendations, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.Build strong technical relationships with customers while supporting ongoing product improvements and troubleshooting.Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.Prepare technical reports, project updates, presentations, and documentation.Support intellectual property documentation and product development records.Travel domestically and occasionally internationally to customer sites, manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and industry events.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Engineering, Food Science, Plastics Engineering, Material Science, or a related technical field.5+ years of experience developing flexible packaging for food applications.Strong knowledge of flexible packaging materials,.Proven experience leading new product development and commercialization projects.Excellent project management, communication, and customer-facing skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%.
