The annual base salary for this position ranges from $107,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $212,600.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Data, Analytics & Intelligence team sits at the center of Converse’s data and insight ecosystem, enabling Planning, Merchandising, Finance, and enterprise partners to make smarter, faster decisions through trusted data, advanced analytics, and scalable Business Intelligence capabilities. This role reports into the Data, Analytics & Intelligence organization and collaborates cross-functionally with business leaders, analysts, data engineers, and technology partners to modernize the data foundation and elevate analytics across Converse.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Converse is looking for a data and analytics professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and a passion for turning complex data into meaningful action. The ideal candidate brings experience applying advanced analytical methods, statistical modeling, forecasting, optimization, and machine learning to solve challenging business problems. They are comfortable working with large, imperfect datasets and can translate ambiguous questions into scalable analytical products that drive business outcomes.

This person thrives at the intersection of technology, analytics, and strategy. They possess strong Python and SQL capabilities, understand modern cloud-based analytics environments, and can communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. They are naturally curious, highly collaborative, and motivated by building repeatable solutions that improve decision-making, accelerate insights, and unlock value across the enterprise. Experience in retail, consumer products, planning, merchandising, or finance environments is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, business analytics, Business Intelligence, or related technical roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, statistical modeling, forecasting, optimization, and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, modern cloud analytics platforms, and visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or similar solutions.
  • Practical experience applying Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Model-based workflows, agentic systems, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation capabilities.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will build advanced analytics capabilities that help Converse leaders understand performance, anticipate opportunities and risks, and make more confident business decisions. Through data science, forecasting, and analytical product development, you will transform complex data into scalable solutions that accelerate insight and action across the enterprise.

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve data science and advanced analytics capabilities that support Planning, Merchandising, Finance, and enterprise business partners.
  • Access, transform, and analyze data using SQL, Python, and modern analytics platforms to uncover actionable business insights.
  • Design and deploy forecasting, predictive modeling, optimization, and machine learning solutions that improve planning accuracy and business performance.
  • Build reusable analytical workflows, models, and data products that increase automation, consistency, scalability, and speed to insight.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical findings into clear recommendations that drive growth, profitability, inventory productivity, and consumer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and technology teams to improve data quality, governance, accessibility, and usability across the modern data ecosystem.
  • Advance data literacy and strengthen the data science community by sharing knowledge, promoting best practices, and exploring emerging Artificial Intelligence capabilities that responsibly scale decision support and analytical impact.
