Role responsibilities

The EKG Technician conducts recordings of electromotive variations in heart muscle using an electrocardiograph and explains testing procedures to patients. They also make preliminary analyses of test results to assist physicians in diagnosing heart ailments.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience. Certification and licensing requirements are specified by the department.
