Responsibilities

  • Ensure prescription orders are accurately packaged with the correct medications, paperwork, labels, and shipping materials before being sent to patients.
  • Perform quality inspections of patient-bound medications and packaging to identify and escalate concerns related to accuracy, damage, spills, or product quality.
  • Verify that shipping information, addresses, and labels are accurate and meet established quality standards.
  • Prepare and package medications requiring special handling in accordance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Support medication preparation activities, including inspecting, labeling, and repackaging medications from manufacturer containers when applicable.
  • Maintain organized inventory by stocking supplies, replenishing workstations, and supporting material movement throughout the pharmacy.
  • Prepare mail sacks, bulk containers, and packages for shipment and distribution.
  • Operate within established quality and productivity standards while maintaining focus on one order at a time.
  • Partner with team members to share best practices, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support operational goals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Escalate issues promptly and contribute ideas that support quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing, pharmacy, distribution, or other operational environment.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using technology in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to accurately read, compare, and verify information.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to visually inspect small medications, labels, and packaging materials for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform a variety of operational tasks during a shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a pharmacy, healthcare, manufacturing, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, or distribution environment.
  • Experience performing quality inspections or working in a quality-focused production setting.
  • Familiarity with packaging, shipping, inventory management, or material handling processes.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17.75 - 24 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
