The Revenue Analyst/Income Auditor will be responsible for understanding business requirements and applying a strong analytical mindset to develop practical, data-driven solutions. These solutions may include process improvements, management reports, interactive dashboards, and business process automation initiatives. The role will design and develop efficient, scalable, and user-friendly reports based on clearly defined business logic, supported by effective data visualizations and meaningful analysis. The insights generated will support operational performance monitoring and executive-level decision-making.

The position will work closely with the Director of Finance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting needs, improve existing business processes, and implement automation solutions through the adoption of new technologies.

   

Specifically, as a Revenue Analyst/Income Auditor for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards: 

  • Gather, Analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with relevant departments and stakeholders.

  • Design, develop, and maintain accurate, efficient, and scalable reports and dashboards using Power BI and other analytical tools.

  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, performance gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop appropriate data models, calculations, and business logic to support management reporting and decision-making.

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of data used in reports and analysis.

  • Work closely with the Director of Finance and departmental teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical analytical solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing business processes, reduce manual work, and increase operational efficiency.

  • Develop and implement workflow automation solutions using Power Automate and other suitable technologies.

  • Maintain and enhance existing reports, dashboards, automated processes, and analytical solutions.

  • Provide timely reports, performance insights, and recommendations to support operational and executive-level decisions.

  • Assist users with report interpretation, system adoption, testing, troubleshooting, and training where required.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis based on requirements by HODs to support business decisions.

  • Prepare and maintain clear documentation for reports, data sources, business rules, processes, and automation solutions.

  • Ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling of financial, operational, and organizational data.

  • Continuously evaluate new technologies and analytical tools that could improve reporting, automation, and business performance.

  • Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Director of Finance or senior management to support the efficient operation of the Finance Department and the property.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BSc Degree in Computer Science. Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or similar.

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Microsoft Power BI, including data modelling, reporting, and dashboard development.

  • Knowledge in advanced Microsoft Excel - (VBA, Macros, Power Pivots, Power Query).

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Power Automate for business workflow automation and process optimization.

  • Understanding of database management, SQL and Data Modeling.

  • Excellent attention to details.

  • Flexible and reliable.

  • Methodical and well organized.

  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English both written and verbal.

  • Passionate towards Data Analytics and willingness to learn new technologies.
