Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You

Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will be developing strategic marketing plans for the hotel and then overseeing the implementation and execution of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan. This might include evaluating the results of different marketing campaigns, spearheading market research efforts, or coordinating initiatives across a variety of channels. As a Cluster Director of Marketing and Communications, you’re not just executing marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Lead and drive cluster marketing strategies:
Develop and execute integrated, data-driven marketing and communications strategies across the cluster to enhance brand positioning, drive revenue growth, and increase market share. Oversee multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, and brand platforms.
  • Provide strategic insights and market leadership:
Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer behaviors. Translate insights into actionable strategies that optimize performance and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Own and optimise commercial performance:
Oversee campaign results, ensuring strong ROI and alignment with commercial objectives. Deliver strategic analysis and insights to Sales, Revenue Management, and senior leadership to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Influence and partner with senior stakeholders:
Act as a strategic advisor to General Managers, Commercial Directors, and department leaders. Manage key relationships across hotel leadership teams, regional teams, and owner to ensure strong alignment and execution.
  • Lead and empower the marketing function:
Provide direction, mentorship, and leadership to the marketing team. Build and develop a high-performing team while ensuring alignment with brand standards and business priorities across all properties within the cluster.

At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:

A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality. Acting with Integrity and always doing the right thing. Inspiring others through Leadership. A belief that Teamwork drives the best outcomes. A sense of Ownership and accountability. And a focus on the Now, bringing urgency and discipline to every moment, knowing it can make a lasting impact.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
  • Minimum 8-12 years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders across hotel operations, regional teams, and ownership groups
  • Strong commercial acumen, with exposure to budget management, ROI, and performance-driven environments
  • Broad knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and multi-channel campaigns
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and hotel systems (e.g., Salesforce, OnQ)
