Job Description
- GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
- Responsible for the general accounting function, budgets, costs and others like monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the responsibilities of the accounting department, included in the control and information reports of a company plant. Implements operating procedures in the area, in accordance with internal policies / provisions. Provides support to business leaders through strategic analysis and reporting. Business partner to location leadership and central corporate finance team. Participates in companywide initiatives and projects.
- RESPONSABILITIES / FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures business processes, administration, and financial management.
- Maintains accounting system.
- Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals.
- Reviews financial reports.
- Prepares financial forecasts.
- Costing Process (required)
- Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance.
- Analyzes revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
- Assists management to make financial decisions.
- Provides technical guidance to Employees, Colleagues and Executives.
- Investigates means to improve profitability.
- Reviews and processes payments of the company.
- Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
- Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.
- Able to collaborate with teams effectively and respectfully. Acts as team player and facilitator among teams.
- Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information
- Predicting future financial trends
- Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
- Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
- Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets
- Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
- Analysing market trends and competitors.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 +yrs of experience leading teams.
- Bilingual (Spanish – English +90%).
- Experience in SAT online system.
- General accounting and finance knowledge.
- Academic requierements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or similar.
