HVAC Mechanical Service Engineer

What you will do:
As an HVAC Mechanical Service Engineer, you will perform direct field labor and support service project delivery with specialized mechanical knowledge. You will handle routine inspections, assist with intermediate troubleshooting under supervision, and support the delivery of HVAC service activities that help maintain system performance and customer uptime.
How you will do it:
Execute direct field labor tasks for HVAC system maintenance and installation under the direction of senior technical leadership.
Conduct routine site inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and energy efficiency standards, such as ASHRAE, ISO, or LEED.
Perform intermediate troubleshooting of system malfunctions and error handling under supervision to restore system functionality.
Support the delivery of service projects by applying specialized knowledge of thermodynamics, airflow dynamics, and mechanical system design.
Provide essential field labor support for Operations and Maintenance activities, including the integration of HVAC components and optimizing performance through control technologies.
Maintain detailed records of site inspections, technical specifications, and maintenance procedures to support long-term system reliability.
What we look for:
Minimum qualifications: A diploma with 2– 5 years of related experience, or a degree with 1–2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and revelant experience.
Experience working in HVAC or related mechanical field service in plant room environments, with familiarity in system troubleshooting; repairs and routine servicing.
Ability to perform direct field labor and support service activities under guidance.
Ability to complete routine inspections and intermediate troubleshooting in a supervised setting.
Comfortable working with Team Leaders and Managers in a hands-on HVAC/mechanical field service environment, supporting field operations and following supervisory direction.
Basic IT knowledge with a demonstrated willingness to learn; adept at using IT and AI technologies to support operations
Customer-facing with the ability to work effectively under pressure; capable of supporting 24/7 operations
