As an IBM product marketing manager in Bangalore, your reach is global as you communicate with other IBM teams, clients, and business partners across the world. **Your role and responsibilities**
We are seeking a product marketing champion to join our Software Product Marketing team. As a Product Marketing Manager for IBM Bob On-Prem offering and Ecosystem, you will be responsible for developing go-to-market strategies, product positioning, launch programs, and customer and partner facing content that drive awareness, adoption, and expansion within enterprise accounts.
You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Technical Sales, Sales, and Marketing and Communications teams to create compelling narratives and enablement assets that resonate with technical decision-makers and developers. You will serve as the market voice for IBM Bob On-Prem, translating customer/partner needs and product capabilities into differentiated value propositions and impactful go-to-market programs.
In this role, you will drive outcomes measured by pipeline growth, account engagement, customer adoption, revenue expansion, and market awareness.
Your primary responsibilities include:
· Own messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for IBM Bob On-Prem, developing differentiated value propositions for technical decision makers and developers.
· Create technical content and customer narratives, including solution briefs, demos, client presentations, customer and partner success stories, and sales plays and use cases that drives pipeline growth and account expansion
· Engage with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Technical Sales, and Marketing teams to execute launches, account-based campaigns, sales and partner kits, and strategic growth initiatives.
· Develop sales and ecosystem partner enablement programs that equip teams with messaging, competitive differentiation, talk tracks, technical presentations, and customer-facing materials to accelerate opportunities within net new and existing accounts.
· Drive customer, market, and competitive insights through engagement with strategic clients, field teams, analysts, and industry trends to inform messaging, go-to-market strategy, and account growth opportunities.
This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times per week.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Experience in Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, Technical Marketing, or B2B Enterprise Marketing
· Experience developing go-to-market strategies and launch plans for enterprise software solutions
· Experience creating technical content, customer-facing assets, and sales enablement materials
· Strong collaboration skills across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Technical Sales, and Marketing teams
· Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences
· Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
· Minimum 6 years of experience in B2B technology marketing
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies
· Experience developing audience strategies (e.g., understanding and prioritizing potential audiences based on key behaviors/characteristics)
· Knowledge of tech leaders (CIO/CTO/VP Engineering) and/or Developer audience
· Experience with AI products and/or services
