This is a senior, high-impact commercial leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth across a small number of high-value enterprise accounts within the life sciences and clinical research ecosystem. You will own complex, multi-million-dollar relationships with biotech, pharma, and clinical development stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner at the executive level. The role requires deep expertise in enterprise SaaS sales and the ability to navigate long, consultative sales cycles in highly regulated environments. You will define and execute account growth strategies, expand platform adoption, and ensure alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders. This position blends strategic account leadership with hands-on deal execution, including pipeline development, solution positioning, and senior-level negotiation. It is a remote role with national travel to client sites and significant visibility across the organization.

Accountabilities:

    • Own and lead strategic relationships across a limited portfolio of enterprise accounts, driving retention, expansion, and long-term partnership value.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive account growth strategies, including multi-year roadmaps aligned with client clinical development and research objectives.
    • Drive complex, consultative sales cycles from prospecting through close, including multi-threaded engagement across VP and C-level stakeholders.
    • Identify and convert net-new opportunities within existing accounts and broader market segments, building a sustainable pipeline of enterprise deals.
    • Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and executive-level presentations that clearly articulate clinical and operational value.
    • Partner closely with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and SDRs) to align execution and optimize client outcomes.
    • Lead negotiations for large-scale contracts, renewals, and expansions, ensuring strong commercial outcomes.
    • Requirements:

      • 10+ years of experience in full-cycle enterprise SaaS sales or strategic account leadership roles.
      • Proven track record of closing and growing 7-figure+ annual deals within complex enterprise environments.
      • Strong experience selling into life sciences, biotech, pharma, clinical development, or healthcare technology sectors.
      • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including VPs, C-level executives, and clinical operations leaders.
      • Deep understanding of SaaS solutions and their value in replacing or enhancing legacy/on-premise systems.
      • Exceptional communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills, including executive-level storytelling.
      • Strong pipeline management discipline, CRM expertise, and ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced exposure to Challenger or similar methodologies preferred.
