Accountabilities:
- Own end-to-end CPQ quoting activities, including configuration, pricing, validation, and approval workflows for both standard and complex deals using Salesforce CPQ, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales teams by supporting deal structuring, providing quoting guidance, resolving order issues, and ensuring adherence to pricing and discounting standards.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and analytics on key deal metrics such as turnaround time, approval cycles, discount trends, and quote performance, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
- Identify and drive improvements in the quote-to-cash process, including automation opportunities, workflow optimization, and enhancements aligned with ASC 606 and revenue recognition requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to implement process changes, manage escalations, and support training for new team members on CPQ tools and best practices.
- Monitor pricing integrity and compliance risks, proactively flag discrepancies, and support resolution efforts to protect margins and ensure deal governance standards are upheld.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Deal Desk roles with hands-on experience in CPQ systems and enterprise quoting processes.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce CRM, and spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets, with the ability to manage complex pricing and configuration workflows.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with reporting, process mapping, and translating data into business insights for leadership teams.
- Deep understanding of SaaS pricing models, subscription or usage-based structures, and exposure to revenue recognition principles such as ASC 606.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and clearly explain complex deal structures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, iterative environments with evolving priorities.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) and Salesforce CPQ certifications or RevOps training is a plus.
- Competitive base salary range of $125,000–$150,000 depending on experience, location, and qualifications
