If you're looking for a place where your contributions have real impact, you’ll fit right in.We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.Job DescriptionRESPEC seeks an Early Water Resources Engineer for our Sarasota, or Tampa, FL location.The Early Career Water Resources Engineer will be involved with all types of planning, design, and specialty services relating to community improvements, environmental compliance and permitting, infrastructure resiliency, stormwater engineering, and watershed modeling for our public and private sector clients.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field, from an ABET-accredited programStrong passion for a civil engineering careerCertification as an Engineer Intern, or a commitment to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering examination within 1 year of start datePreferred:Experience with ArcGIS Pro and Civil 3DKnowledge of developing and guiding construction plan preparationPractical application of various hydrology/hydraulics software (e.g. BMP Trains, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HSPF, ICPR, MODRET, StormCAD, StormWise, SWMM, etc.)Additional InformationCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
