Job Summary:
Completes preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on Generator or component at the customer site with minimal direction.

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
(Entry):
- Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.
- Basic Diesel Engine experience.
- Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.
- Basic mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
- Foundational experience with high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Capable of performing basic electrical repair and maintenance with guidance; some hands-on exposure to power generation equipment.
- Introductory diesel engine experience.
- Basic troubleshooting and repair knowledge of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
- Familiarity with ATS systems, including assisting with repairs and supporting commissioning of new ATS installations.

Nice to Have:
- A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
- A current valid license is required for this role
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- 3 years driving experience
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
-Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Minimal level of workshop related experience required.
Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
