Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for iOS and Android applications.
- Perform manual testing activities, including functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and usability testing.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect documentation using test management tools.
- Develop automation scripts using no-code/low-code platforms and Java-based automation solutions.
- Configure and maintain API mocking environments using WireMock for service virtualization and integration testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify, reproduce, analyze, and validate defects.
- Integrate automated testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Document automation strategies, testing standards, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to improving testing efficiency through new tools, frameworks, and automation approaches.
- 5+ years of experience in mobile application testing with a strong focus on test automation for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, defect management, SDLC, and STLC processes.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies, including exploratory and regression testing.
- Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and Xray or similar tools for test management and reporting.
- Experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms such as Sofy.ai, Maestro, TestProject, Katalon, or similar solutions.
- Hands-on experience configuring and using WireMock for API mocking and service virtualization.
- Working knowledge of Java for automation scripting and development of testing utilities.
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium or Espresso is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based or self-hosted mobile device farms is a plus.
- Knowledge of API testing, including REST or GraphQL validation, is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized testing environments is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
