Compensation Range:

$19.04 - $26.63

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

Types correspondence, reports, and other materials. Compiles, organizes, and maintains records of business transactions. Submits invoices and monitors ledgers. Maintains files on storage drives. Answers correspondence and prepares outgoing mail. Orders supplies. Operates office machines such as photocopiers and scanners, voice mail systems and personal computers. Assists with meeting scheduling and takes minutes. Assists with collection handling and inventory, as requested.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Submits invoices and tracks budgets for exhibitions, art acquisitions, and other Curatorial Department accounts. Sets up purchase orders and budget requests. Orders and maintains department supplies. Oversees department purchase card.
  • Serves as department point of contact for certain tasks. Communicates with departments and outside entities by monitoring central email inboxes and distributing notices. Handles routine departmental correspondence serving as the first point of contact for research inquiries as well as art submissions and proposals.
  • Assists with department scheduling and exhibition planning. Takes meeting minutes. Prepares and edits documents, presentations, and reports. Prepares and distributes correspondence for loans.
  • Assists with collection movement and inventory as directed by Registrars and Director of Curatorial Affairs.
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs as well as project management software, i.e. Microsoft Teams preferred
