As an ADAS Project Manager, you will take ownership of cutting-edge projects in the field of advanced driver assistance systems. Your team is developing industry-leading radar sensors, along with the associated software and electronic control units (ECUs). These technologies enable next-generation safety and comfort features for modern vehicles.

In this role, you will lead projects focused on radar-supported functions, such as Bicycle/Pedestrian Emergency Braking or Traffic Jam Pilot.

The project requires strong leadership skills to manage distributed, international teams, as the majority of your colleagues are based abroad. You will ensure seamless collaboration across locations, driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions on time and within scope.

Additionally, you will act as the primary customer interface, ensuring clear communication, alignment on requirements, and proactive management of expectations.

Your Role

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with OEM customers

  • Leading project team meetings internally & on the customer side

  • Project planning & control within the framework of the product development process & customer requirements

  • Responsibility for the preparation and adherence to the budget

  • Risk and escalation management

  • Preparation of regular status reports for management and customers

  • Development and initiation of measures to achieve targets with a focus on deadlines, quality & costs

  • Responsibility for timely completion of the product

Your Background

  • Successfully completed studies in engineering - preferably electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable qualification

  • Several years of experience in project management in the automotive industry, preferably with a software background

  • Experience in ADAS with focus on functional safety (ISO 26262); radar knowledge would be an advantage

  • Business fluent in written and spoken English; German would be an advantage

  • Very good organizational and communication skills as well as assertiveness

  • Knowledge of business management and financial KPIs

  • Knowledge of software development processes and tools (e.g. Jira, Polarion) as well as Automotive SPICE and Cybersecurity

  • System experience for vehicle integration of different ECUs and sensors

  • Experience for supplier tracking and steering

  • Trustworthiness, commitment and dedication, initiative, flexibility, ability to work in a team
