We’re looking for a Sales Team Leader (French Speaking) to join our Manchester team for a 12 months FTC.
The Team
The Small Medium Business (SMB) teams are responsible for Deliveroo's relationships with
thousands of independent restaurant and retail partners that operate on the Deliveroo
marketplace in several markets across Europe, ensuring that they continue to grow and
operate. The SMB team spans the full life-cycle of partner interactions from initial acquisition,
onboarding, reactive support and proactive account management.
The Role
As Sales Team Leader you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Sales
Development Representatives (SDR's) focused on generating new restaurant sign-ups to
join the Deliveroo platform.
You will ensure that the team provides a positive and seamless partner experience whilst on
boarded onto the platform. This role is important to ensuring we continue to grow and enable
even more SMB partners to get the very best out of our platform.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm. This is a hybrid role, working in the
Manchester office 3 days a week.
What You’ll Be Doing
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Manage SDRs to lead quality partner acquisition, generate new sales opportunities, and ensure relevant utilisation of Salesforce to track pipeline
Identify the development areas of SDR's, provide coaching sessions to lead efficiency and enhance the performance of the SDR team
Work with our Regional Sales Teams to share market knowledge that enables us to work together to maximise the sales opportunities in any given area
Execute campaigns adhering to relevant contact strategies that deliver important
performance metrics, including sales outcomes, restaurant experience and qualitative results
Produce ongoing sales reports with sound analysis into performance ensuring clear action plans are built
Attend and contribute to weekly and stakeholders meetings to provide updates on team performance and progress
Act an inspirational role model
What You’ll Need to Thrive
This is a fast-paced role which will require you to enjoy working in a target-based
environment. You will be passionate about both people leadership and delivering results,
along with being able to handle objections.
The required skills include:
2+ years experience in a Sales Leadership role
Clear evidence of producing results in a Contact Centre environment
Ability to guide partners through effective negotiation
The desired experiences include:
Experience working with SalesForce system for customer enhancement
Experience using and maintaining High Velocity Sales
Experience in identifying process improvements in pipeline management and finding incremental improvements in a high performing team
