The hours for this shift are 4:00pm - 12:45am. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $20.66 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do:
The Assembler IV is responsible for a wide range of skills including wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. Perform assembly or wiring required for test preparation and final inspection.Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, and wiring schematics.Use various tools, such as wire strippers, crimpers, wire cutters, impact guns, drills, and pliers to assemble switchboards' electrical wiring.Handle materials following established procedures.Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.Perform other functions and/or tasks as assignedFlexing into other functions of the business Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:Must meet ONE of the following qualifications:1 year of electrical wiring experience OR A completed technical degree in a related field OR Connectors I & II certifications AND 1 year of experience as an Assembler IIINo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Proficient with computer operation and programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint.Must work somewhat independently and make decisions that affect the workgroup.
