Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant security-related details.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and/or perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and/or communicate with store leadership and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related matters.
- Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and/or following post orders for retail operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
