Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute end-market and offtake strategies for organics and recyclable material streams in collaboration with internal product and commercial teams.
- Identify, evaluate, and commercially validate new end markets across composting, anaerobic digestion, advanced recycling, and emerging bio-based and fuels pathways.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with processors, converters, recyclers, and technology providers across the circular economy ecosystem.
- Support negotiation and structuring of long-term offtake agreements across multiple facilities and material streams.
- Provide commercial analysis, pricing frameworks, and decision-support tools to guide contracting and market evaluation.
- Advise project and commercial teams on end-market strategy for new developments, proposals, and expansions.
- Collaborate with government affairs and external stakeholders to support market development and policy alignment initiatives.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and finance teams to ensure alignment between material output, pricing assumptions, and commercial execution.
- Contribute to acquisition integration efforts by identifying revenue pathways and securing downstream market agreements.
- 5+ years of experience in organics, recycling, renewable fuels, commodities, energy, or related industrial commercialization environments.
- Proven track record of developing strategic partnerships and commercial agreements in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong ability to analyze markets, structure deals, and translate technical and operational inputs into commercial value propositions.
- Experience working with offtake agreements, pricing models, or project-based commercial structures is highly desirable.
- Ability to influence and lead external partner discussions through negotiation and execution.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across technical, operational, financial, and commercial teams.
- Background in adjacent industries such as commodities trading, advanced manufacturing, or project finance is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a strategic, solution-oriented mindset.
- MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, environmental science, or related field preferred.
