Key Responsibilities
Process Transformation & Digital Solutions
Execute assigned transformation and integration projects with high‑quality, timely deliverables.
Implement requested changes to existing or new programs, tools, and reports.
Conduct current‑state process analysis; document and refine business processes, data flows, and interactions with service provider systems.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate business processes to improve quality, efficiency, and user experience.
Create end‑to‑end solutions for business processes, including documentation, training materials, and ongoing support.
Stay current on benefits program changes, labor agreement changes, new technology, and evolving data requirements.
Support new business processes and projects across Benefits Operations. #### Requirements, Design & Testing
Partner with business sponsors to define business requirements for new and/or enhanced data, reporting, and integrations.
Document business requirements and collaborate with business partners, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and IT on appropriate design decisions.
Create and co‑own functional specifications for new and/or enhanced data transmissions and interfaces.
Lead and facilitate functional specification review sessions with cross‑functional stakeholders (business sponsors, IT, other business analysts, operations, and TPAs).
Coordinate with GM Subject Matter Experts, GM IT, and TPAs to ensure comprehensive user acceptance testing and training plans are developed and executed.
Manage change controls to ensure successful transition of new or updated solutions into production, Operations Support & Issue Management
Provide ongoing support to Benefits Operations for benefits‑related data and integration issues.
Own emerging data integration issues and errors, including root cause analysis for existing and emergent issues.
Open and manage change requests or break/fix requests based on identified issues.
Create and maintain meaningful metrics and dashboards to communicate data issues, trends, and resolutions to leadership.
Canada Benefits Data & Integrations – Primary Focus
End‑to‑End Data Quality & Reconciliation
Ensure data quality and reconciliation for Canadian benefits by reviewing:
Daily Alight edit reports
CAAT change/full‑file error reports
Kronos bypass reports
Complete weekly future‑dated termination checks.
Monitor integrations during key annual events (e.g., contractual general wage increases, Advanced Comp salary updates).
Lead semi‑annual/annual full reconciliations with Alight and annual status‑history reviews with CAAT.
Integration Issue Analysis & Defect Management
Lead analysis and defect management for Workday‑to‑vendor interfaces.
Triage data vs. integration defects and partner with HR/LR business partners on required Workday corrections.
Log, track, and prioritize integration defects; collaborate with IT on fixes and legal/regulatory change implementations.
Develop test scenarios, enter test data, and validate output files to support defect resolution and enhancements.
Subject Matter Expertise & Stakeholder Support
Serve as SME to Benefits, Payroll, HR, and Pension teams for Canadian benefits data flows.
Investigate employee data transmitted to Alight, Canada Life, and CAAT and confirm employee status (e.g., pension withdrawals, retirements).
Advise stakeholders on the impact of Workday changes on vendor integrations and downstream processes.
Reporting, Monitoring & Business Continuity
Maintain reporting and business continuity readiness by extracting key Workday reports to OneDrive on a daily basis.
Use Access databases, Databricks, and Workday reporting to support analysis, root‑cause investigation, and ongoing monitoring of Canadian benefits data flows.
Access Management & Vendor Platform Ownership
Maintain and administer user access for key vendor portals (e.g., CAAT portal, Alight site), including access requests, renewals, and troubleshooting.
Serve as business/application owner for key Canadian benefits platforms (Alight, CAAT, Canada Life), including:
Completing annual SOX activities
Coordinating PGP key changes
Reviewing EDT documentation
Supporting broader vendor and application operations.
Qualifications
Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree in business, business analytics, statistics, computer science or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency working with extremely large and complex data sets.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to think creatively and strategically and translate strategy into executable plans.
Proven capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience with project management, change management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to present data, findings, and recommended actions/solutions to stakeholders at various levels.
Experience with Workday business processes and reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $97,800.00 to $146,600.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
