As an AI Enablement Engineer, you will be tasked with accelerating the adoption of AI across our R&D organization. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, productivity, innovation, and change management. You will identify, evaluate, and drive the adoption of AI-powered tools, workflows, and engineering practices that improve developer productivity, software quality, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness. You will act as a force multiplier for engineering teams, helping transform emerging AI capabilities into measurable business impact. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring a combination of technical depth, experimentation mindset, and strong influence skills. Success will be measured by your ability to discover opportunities, drive adoption, and create lasting improvements in how our teams build, test, secure, and operate software. What Success Looks Like? Within the first year, you will: Establish a clear AI enablement strategy for the R&D organization. Successfully deploy and scale multiple AI-powered workflows across engineering teams. Deliver measurable improvements in developer productivity and engineering efficiency. Build strong AI adoption across the organization through enablement, education, and advocacy. Become the go-to expert for AI innovation and engineering transformation.
What Will You Do?
Primary responsibilities include:
- AI Strategy & Innovation: Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI across software development, security, testing, operations, documentation, and knowledge management.
- Run proof-of-concepts and pilot programs to validate new tools and approaches.
- Build a roadmap for AI adoption across engineering teams.
- Developer Productivity & Enablement: Introduce and optimize AI-assisted development workflows.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve coding, debugging, testing,
- code review, and documentation processes.
- Design reusable AI-powered workflows, automations, and best practices.
- Establish standards and governance for responsible AI usage.
- Change Leadership: Drive organizational adoption of AI capabilities through training, coaching, and hands-on support.
- Act as an internal consultant helping teams identify and solve productivity bottlenecks.
- Create playbooks, enablement materials, and success metrics.
- Build an AI-first culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Measurement & Impact: Define KPIs to measure AI effectiveness and productivity improvements.
- Track adoption, efficiency gains, quality improvements, and ROI.
- Communicate outcomes and recommendations to engineering leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leadership to align AI initiatives with business priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on AI-related opportunities and risks.
What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?
Required
- 5–8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of AI/LLMs, coding assistants, agentic workflows, and automation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of leading initiatives from concept to organization-wide adoption.
Preferred
- 2–3+ years working with AI solutions in engineering organizations.
- Experience with prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks, and agent platforms.
- Experience defining and measuring productivity, adoption, and ROI metrics.
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
Ideal profile: A senior/staff-level engineer with 5–10 years of engineering experience and 1–3+ years driving AI adoption or AI-powered productivity initiatives.
