Screening Associate

We are searching for a full time Screening Associate -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will ensure the proper screening of employees, patients, and visitors that desire entry into any Texas Children's facility.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs screening functions
• Assists employees, contractors, and patient families with appropriate screening questions
• Assist employees with utilizing the screening survey (QR Code) tool
• Screen employees, contractors, and patient families for elevated temperature through the use of handheld thermal scanner computer thermography
• Performs customer service support role
• Responds to all customer requests in a courteous and professional manner
• Provides wayfinding assistance to visitors and patient families when necessary
• Monitors screening area to ensure proper social distancing measures are in place.
• Completes duties and assignments as directed by leadership and as per policy and procedure
• Assists other staff with duties if necessary
• Assists with performing screening functions at both patient and employee stations or where needed
• Finishes and meets standards for all required training
• Secures work area as required. Follows all security policies and procedures
• Completes any other tasks or special projects as assigned
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Skills & Requirements

Required H.S. Diploma or GED
