As a Human Resources Generalist, you’re not just supporting daily operations of the hotel’s HR function – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Support daily HR operations: Perform multiple key HR functions such as recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance management, ensuring compliance with corporate HR policies and federal/local regulations
- Foster team member engagement: Support employee relations initiatives such as recognition programs, special events, and engagement activities to create a positive workplace culture
- Maintain employment data in HR systems: Assist with data management, track employment transitions, generate reports, and process unemployment claims
- Ensure HR compliance: Adhere to all employment regulations, fair hiring practices, and company policies
