Job Description Summary

As Operations Leader, you will perform daily operations to ensure reliability and consistency on the repair production lines, while providing a safe & effective learning environment. You’ll impact Cell operations and perform planning & execution responsibilities, driving fulfillment 5 in the cell . This role will report to the Cell Leader and has direct supervisory responsibilities for hourly operators on their shifts.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate is responsible of leading 35-45 blue collar employees.
  • Operationalizing and sustaining Fulfillment-5 metrics execution on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity and People.
  • Driving a ‘zero exception’ culture with Safety; sustaining Operations compliance to Regulatory & Non- Regulatory actions by engaging the shop floor operators on daily basis.
  • Helping the Quality team and ensuring compliance to QMS procedures.
  • Leading tactical operations rhythm and working inclusively with Safety, Engineering, Quality, and HR to resolve shop floor issues promptly.
  • Driving On-Time-Delivery for the Cell through meeting repair jobs plan.
  • Ownership of job cost review process throughout the life-cycle of each repair.
  • Ownership of Utilization, capacity planning and manpower planning for the cell.
  • Championing productivity initiatives and cost reduction projects in the cell.
  • Lead Product Lines in the Cell along with Driving 5S and lean excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor 's degree in Engineering,
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related job/Manufacturing repair business with 2 years of experience in people leader role.
  • Proficiency with computer tools (MS Office)
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Demonstrated Safety and Quality focus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with Lean deployment.
  • Good working knowledge of manufacture/repair processes associated with gas turbine components,
  • Experience in a leadership role within a power generation or repair business.
  • Proficiency in dealing with SAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and motivate teams.
  • Good understanding of workshop practices/processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change.
  • Strong communication & organizational skills.
