Work within the Kuala Lumpur AVEVA CAD team to provide detailed design drawings (Process Flow Diagram, Process& Instrumentation Diagram, Utilities Flow Diagram, Process Safeguarding Diagram and process related drawings) using AUTOCAD or Intelligent software (AVEVA P&ID, AVEVA Diagram or Smart P&ID). Proven experience working on project using AVEVA software and possess P&ID knowledge. Possess basic knowledge to help in General Arrangements drafting related to process packages for Separation, Gas Dehydration and TEG Regeneration, Seawater Treatment, Solids management and Produced Water Treatment for Oil & Gas related projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting process related drawings including PFD, P&ID/ AVEVA P&ID or AVEVA Diagram, UFD using intelligent software or AUTOCAD. 
  • Review project specifications to ensure drawings produced aligned with client expectation. This includes using correct legend, titleblock, line numbering, tag numbering, etc. 
  • Generate and update process line lists, equipment lists, tag databases, and intelligent P&ID content using AVEVA software.
  • Ensure correct implementation of process data, attributes, and specifications into the AVEVA environment.
  • Support process engineers in preparing PFD,P&IDs, HMB and process datasheet linking with process deliverables using AVEVA software. 
  • Liase with other disciplines engineer (mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical) in terms of accurate representation of data in AVEVA system based on process drawings. 
  • Support in term of brief general arrangement drawing drafting
  • Perform quality checks on P&IDs, attributes, tags, and references before deliverable submission.
  • Carry out assigned duties within given timescales.
  • Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy.
  • Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times.
  • Maintain AVEVA data structures, libraries, specification and tagging rules. 
  • Support setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of AVEVA applications. 
  • Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical /Production Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years in Process/ Mechanical Design/Drafting role.
  • Proven experience working in AVEVA software for projects with P&ID knowledge.
  • Strong proficiency in AVEVA Software suite. 
  • Good understanding of process engineering documentation and workflows.
  • Ability to read and interpret process documents: PFD, P&ID, HMB, datasheet.
