Role Overview

Arctic Wolf is looking for a Full Stack Developer 2 to join the SOAR team. SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) is a security operations platform that helps organizations streamline incident response, automate repetitive security workflows, and improve analyst efficiency through intelligent orchestration and automation.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will build and enhance both the frontend and backend components of the SOAR platform. You will develop scalable cloud-native services, intuitive user interfaces, and reliable APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain features across both frontend and backend components of the SOAR platform.

  • Build scalable backend services using Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.

  • Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React and integrate them with backend APIs and services.

  • Design and consume REST APIs and work with SQL/NoSQL databases and event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

  • Develop, test, and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS-based infrastructure.

  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable, high-quality software delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, Quality Engineering, and other developers to deliver end-to-end product features.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.

  • Hands-on experience developing both backend services and frontend applications in a production environment.

  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.

  • Strong experience with React (preferred) or similar frontend frameworks such as Vue or Angular.

  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with microservices architectures.

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

  • Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile software development.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity or enterprise software products will be a huge plus

  • Experience building cloud-native SaaS applications.

  • Exposure to observability, monitoring, and distributed systems.
