Specialist, Client Coverage (Global Payments & Trade Korea)

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Client Coverage to join our Global Payments & Trade Korea team. This role is located in Korea (Seoul).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Support Relationship Managers in managing and growing relationships with Korean Financial Institution clients across Global Clearing and Trade Finance products. 
  • Coordinate client onboarding, KYC reviews, periodic reviews, and remediation activities.
  • Maintain accurate client and pipeline information within ECRM systems, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy. 
  • Prepare client presentations, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, account plans, and management reports.
  • Monitor business volumes, revenue trends, profitability, and credit limit utilization
  • Conduct client research, analyze business opportunities and assist in resolving client issues in coordination with internal stakeholders. 
  • Support client meetings, service reviews, training sessions, and other client engagement activities, including preparation of meeting materials and follow-up actions. 
  • Support client marketing initiatives and events in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product, Client Service, Operations, Compliance, Credit and Risk teams to support business development, and ongoing relationship management. 
  • Identify client needs and support the delivery of Global Payment & Trade solutions to deepen client engagement and expand wallet share. 
  • May be responsible for managing a small portfolio of client relationships.

 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 5–7 years of experience in Financial Institution coverage, transaction banking, client relationship management, or related financial services. 
  • Knowledge of correspondent banking, payments, cash management, and trade finance products. 
  • Familiarity with client onboarding, KYC reviews, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Fluent in Korean and English to support the client segment.
  • Veteran Benefit Holders Preferred (국가유공자/보훈대상자 우대)
