Accountabilities:

    • Support, monitor, and evolve an internal application logging platform designed to process and manage billions of events monthly, ensuring high availability and reliability.
    • Ensure proper structuring and organization of log data to support critical business processes such as API billing and usage tracking.
    • Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot OpenSearch and related search/indexing infrastructure to guarantee performance and scalability.
    • Develop and enhance backend systems using .NET (C#), contributing to platform stability and feature evolution.
    • Work with AWS cloud services such as CloudWatch, SQS, S3, EKS, and EC2 to support distributed system operations and data pipelines.
    • Use Git for version control, including branch management, code reviews, and conflict resolution in collaborative development workflows.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve observability, system reliability, and data processing efficiency.
    • Requirements:

      • Experience in backend development using C# and the .NET framework in production environments.
      • Solid understanding of Git workflows, including version control, branching strategies, and collaborative development practices.
      • Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, including querying, maintenance, and operational support.
      • Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as CloudWatch, SQS, S3, EKS, and EC2 in production or near-production environments.
      • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills applied to distributed systems and large-scale data environments.
      • Ability to work in structured engineering environments focused on reliability, scalability, and data accuracy.
      • Python scripting experience is considered a strong plus for automation and data processing tasks.
