Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Engineering Manager - Full Stack who is a strong hands-on engineering leader with deep technical expertise across backend and frontend systems with with strong Java, React and AWS technologies background. This role requires someone who can manage team of developers and drive architecture, stay close to code, mentor teams, and bring a forward-looking and problem solving mindset toward adopting new technologies, including AI, to drive innovation and engineering excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipOwn the technical direction of your team's product area, driving architecture and design of scalable, secure, and performant systems on AWS.Contribute to end-to-end solution design spanning services, APIs, and UI layers.Stay hands-on — contribute to critical components, conduct design reviews, code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices.Drive root cause analysis, debugging, and resolution of production issues; ensure reliability, scalability, and observability in production.Delivery & ExecutionLead development teams to deliver high-value, complex projects on time and within budget.Specify and ensure technology solutions fulfill business requirements and ROI goals.Manage project schedules, risks, and issues effectively; provide regular updates to stakeholders.Drive multiple deliverables in parallel with disciplined planning and execution.People & CultureManage, coach, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative engineering culture.Anticipate change management needs and ensure effective solution adoption through knowledge transfer, training, and deployment readiness.Promote and drive adoption of AI tools and AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity, code quality, and engineering outcomes.QualificationsMust HaveB.S./B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent.13+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in an engineering management or technical leadership role.Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.Deep experience with AWS — including EKS/Kubernetes, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, ECS, SQS, SNS, Fargate, DynamoDB, and Aurora.Experience building and integrating API-driven services (REST, GraphQL, event-driven architectures).Experience with messaging systems, particularly Kafka (and SQS/SNS).Strong knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL — MySQL, DynamoDB) and data modeling/design.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, Datadog, etc.).Proven ability to design and build highly scalable distributed systems.Hands-on experience working with and utilizing AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted coding, code generation, automated testing, AI-powered DevOps) to drive engineering productivity and innovation.Frontend & Full StackGood understanding of modern frontend frameworks (React and/or Angular).Familiarity with SPA architecture, Micro Frontends, and GraphQL integrations.Ability to design and review end-to-end solutions across backend and UI layers, and guide frontend development and integration efforts.Leadership & Soft SkillsStrong technical leadership with the ability to influence architecture and engineering direction across teams.Ability to balance hands-on engineering with people management responsibilities.Excellent problem-solving skills across varying...
