Responsibilities

Description

We are looking for a Cloud System Administrator with experience in managing Linux (Ubuntu) systems and AWS cloud infrastructure. The role involves setting up, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining AWS servers with LAMP application stack. The candidate will be responsible for server deployments, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, security management, and supporting development teams by setting up and maintaining local development environments. The role also involves managing cloud resources, ensuring system reliability, and implementing best practices for cloud security and operations.

 

  • Set up, configure, and manage AWS cloud servers and infrastructure.
  • Perform Linux (Ubuntu) server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Manage application deployments and server configurations.
  • Configure and maintain Nginx web servers and MySQL databases.
  • Manage GitHub/GitLab repositories and deployment workflows.
  • Monitor server performance and optimize services for better efficiency.
  • Handle patches, permissions, service deployments, and system updates.
  • Support developers by setting up and maintaining local development environments.
  • Monitor cloud resources, network performance, and system availability.
  • Manage firewall configurations and implement security practices.
  • Assist with cloud service modifications and infrastructure improvements.
  • Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Cloud System Administrator / Linux Administrator / AWS Administrator.
  • Good knowledge of AWS services and cloud server deployments.
  • Strong understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) administration.
  • Hands-on experience with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, PHP).
  • Experience managing Nginx and MySQL configurations.
  • Knowledge of GitHub/GitLab and version control practices.
  • Experience with server deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of application-level security and cloud security practices.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and cloud infrastructure management.
