Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Registered Dietitian to join the clinical nutrition team at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Established in 2019, this 93-bed acute care hospital provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic, surgical, and treatment services to the community.

What You'll Do

 

  • Provide nutrition assessment and care for a variety of inpatient populations
  • Deliver nutrition education to patients with acute and chronic disease states
  • Document care using the Epic electronic medical record system
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal nutrition care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction rounds and test tray evaluations
  • Support nutrition support practices, including enteral and parenteral nutrition as appropriate
  • Participate in a rotating weekend and holiday schedule

What You Bring

  • Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN)  Minimum of 5 years of clinical healthcare experience
  • Strong clinical nutrition knowledge and assessment skills
  • Experience with nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition
  • Critical care (ICU) experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as a team member
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Experience working with Epic or other electronic health record systems

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Management Experience: 7+ months general supervision  

Minimum Functional Experience:  3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty
