The resident will work closely with mentor/s to provide outpatient care to athletes of all ages in our sports specialty clinics. The resident will also work directly with athletes in sports venue, training room, local schools, and community event settings. The resident will be provided didactic education in line with the requirements of the Description of Residency Practice to successfully prepare for the Sports Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist Exam. The resident will be required to maintain passing grades on required materials as laid out in the Sports PT Residency Handbook. The resident will be capable of applying ongoing current concepts in research to patient care.What you will doComplete 1800-hour residency program consistent of 1500 Care Clinical Hours and 300 didactic hours. Successfully complete RHS Sports Residency Curriculum as outlined from American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education program. Provide evidence-based care vase using established evidence-based practices. Partricipate in mentorship and development activities. QualificationsEducationDoctoral Degree, Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
