Accountabilities:

    As a Clinical Data Management Specialist, you will support the execution of clinical data management activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of assigned projects. You will work closely with data managers and clinical research teams to maintain high-quality standards throughout the study lifecycle.

    • Perform clinical data entry and processing activities for assigned studies, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with study requirements.
    • Support Data Managers with key data management activities, including Data Management Plans, Case Report Form (CRF) design, database development, and quality control processes.
    • Draft and maintain data management documentation using established templates and procedures.
    • Assist with defining, monitoring, and improving clinical trial data flow and validation processes according to internal standards and regulatory guidelines.
    • Support the design and review of CRFs, database structures, data capture screens, and edit specifications.
    • Validate electronically collected clinical data and generate clear queries for missing information, inconsistencies, and data quality issues.
    • Perform quality control checks throughout studies and support database closure activities.
    • Review and distribute study monitoring reports to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Assist with resolving data coding discrepancies related to medical events, procedures, and medications.
    • Maintain accurate trial documentation and support final data archival activities.
    • Assist quality assurance teams with reviews of CRFs, database structures, and clinical trial data records.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has an academic background in health sciences or related fields, combined with strong analytical abilities and an interest in clinical research data management.

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences, chemistry, or a related discipline.
      • Ability to apply clinical trial data management concepts, data capture techniques, and quality control methodologies.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform logical and algebraic data reviews.
      • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate, high-quality data.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
      • Knowledge of clinical research processes, data management practices, and regulatory requirements is an asset.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
