Accountabilities:
- Analyze, interpret, and transform complex datasets into strategic insights that support business decision-making.
- Develop predictive models using Data Science and Machine Learning techniques to support forecasting and strategic planning.
- Create analytical indicators, reports, and dashboards that provide visibility into key business performance metrics.
- Apply data modeling best practices, including Star Schema, dimensions, facts, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs), ensuring scalable analytical solutions.
- Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards with a focus on performance, usability, and data visualization quality.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and apply statistical methods to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate requirements into effective analytical solutions.
- Support data governance initiatives by promoting quality, consistency, and reliability across information assets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization.
- Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
- Experience with Git for code versioning and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts such as Star Schema, fact and dimension tables, and SCDs.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, manipulation, and analytical model development.
- Knowledge of applied statistics and exploratory data analysis techniques.
- Experience or understanding of supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning methods.
- Ability to create compelling data storytelling and clearly communicate insights to business stakeholders.
- Experience working with Data Warehouse and/or Data Lake environments.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies such as DBT, Databricks, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, MLflow, or MLOps practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and applications based on language models is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, collaboration mindset, and ability to solve complex problems.
