In Building Solutions North America, you will help deliver complex controls construction projects with precision, coordination, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead large, multifaceted control construction projects from planning through completion. You will work closely with owners, contractor sales managers, installation teams, subcontractors, and internal partners to guide strategy, manage scope, and keep every phase moving toward a successful closeout.
This role is responsible for full project lifecycle leadership on control construction projects that typically exceed $1M in value. How you will do it
Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of large control construction projects with a strong focus on scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
Support early project development by contributing to strategy, vendor selection, scope enhancements, value engineering, and risk assessments.
Ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, within budget, and within contract scope.
Maintain positive cash flow by managing project costs, billings, collections, and active pursuit of change orders.
Review project progress, financial status, and contract conditions to identify risks and take corrective action early.
Coordinate procurement activities, subcontractor agreements, and related delivery requirements to support project execution.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements, contract terms, specifications, local codes, and installation techniques.
Promote the highest standards of ethics, safety, and quality across all project activities.
Develop strong working relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Attend progress meetings as needed and provide clear updates on project status, issues, and next steps.
Own outcomes with accountability, safety, and integrity by setting clear expectations, building practical schedules, and keeping execution disciplined from kickoff through closeout.
Focus on what matters by reviewing client bulletins, schedule changes, and scope impacts quickly, then removing obstacles that could delay delivery or customer satisfaction.
Improve every day by using Microsoft Project to assess progress, evaluate risk, build recovery plans, and strengthen repeatable project management practices.
Win as one team by maintaining open communication with owners, installation teams, subcontractors, consultants, and internal partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Keep project financials current and accurate, including billings, collections, change order tracking, and settlement negotiations where needed.
Use a consistent project management approach to coordinate resources, manage procurement timing, and uphold quality control expectations.
