Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Dietitian atCHI Williston Health, you will help our patients, their families, and caregivers receive expert nutritional assessment and counseling so they can improve their health, well-being, and recovery outcomes. Every day you will assess the nutritional status of a diverse patient population, from general care to complex cases, using recognized assessment tools and age/gender-appropriate standards. You will be expected to recommend and counsel on personalized nutrition plans, conduct screenings to identify patients at nutritional risk, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment to facilitate comprehensive patient care. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong assessment and intervention planning skills, a deep understanding of nutritional science, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a collaborative healthcare setting.Develop individualized intervention plans, including feeding routes and nutrition prescriptions, in accordance with physician's orders and patient needsComplete comprehensive nutritional assessments and provide education for both inpatients and swing-bed patientsMonitor and evaluate patient response to nutritional interventions, updating care plans as necessary and following up as neededActively collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment to identify and facilitate care for patients at nutritional risk or requiring higher levels of careWork closely with the Food and Nutrition Services team to enhance the overall patient experienceWe are offering a $10,000 employment incentive to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
