Accountabilities:
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and established accounting policies.
- Perform detailed account analysis and reconciliation activities to identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support general ledger operations across multiple entities and ensure timely completion of accounting deliverables.
- Review accounting workpapers prepared by external partners and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage LLC accounting activities and coordinate responses to internal and external accounting requests.
- Support audit preparation activities by providing documentation, analysis, and timely responses to audit inquiries.
- Monitor cash flow activity, identify potential financial risks, and provide insights that support business decisions.
- Prepare and support financial statements, management reports, and other financial documentation as needed.
- Evaluate accounting processes and internal controls to improve efficiency, strengthen compliance, and safeguard organizational assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting activities, accounting system improvements, and special projects.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting requests, system-related initiatives, and process improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–10 years of accounting experience with hands-on responsibility for financial close processes.
- Strong experience preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting account analysis.
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting principles.
- Experience supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close cycles.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Experience working with ERP systems and accounting platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data efficiently.
- Experience supporting audits, financial reporting, and internal control processes is preferred.
- Competitive annual salary range of $78,000 - $121,000 USD, based on experience, qualifications, education, and relevant expertise.
