Job Summary

The Mexico PS Planning & Strategy Manager is responsible for leading strategic planning, business performance tracking, and execution alignment for the Personal Systems (PS) category in Mexico.

This role ensures that global and LATAM strategies are translated into actionable country-level plans, driving profitable growth, market share gains, and operational excellence. The position acts as a bridge between category, sales, marketing, finance, and operations, ensuring strong alignment and disciplined execution.



Responsibilities

1) Strategic Planning & Business Alignment

  • Lead development of Mexico PS strategic plans aligned with:
    • LATAM 4P strategy
    • Global business priorities
    • Country market dynamics
  • Ensure alignment between:
    • Category
    • Sales
    • Marketing
    • Finance

2) Business Performance Management

  • Own and manage business KPIs and performance tracking, including:
    • Revenue, margin (CM), and profitability
    • Market share and mix evolution
  • Lead cadence:
    • Weekly reviews
    • Monthly business updates
    • Quarterly performance reviews

3) Demand Planning & Forecast Alignment

  • Partner with sales and supply chain teams to Align demand forecasts with market needs
  • Support prioritization of:
    • Strategic deals
    • Key accounts
    • Sell-out initiatives

4) Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as a central coordination point across:
    • Category (Regional & WW)
    • Sales (Commercial & Channel)
    • Marketing
    • Finance
    • Supply chain
  • Drive decision-making through:
    • Data insights
    • Strategic recommendations
  • Ensure strong communication and alignment across teams

5) Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor and analyze:
    • Market trends
    • Customer behavior
    • Competitive actions
  • Support development of strategies to:
    • Defend and grow market share
    • Improve positioning vs. competitors
  • Provide actionable insights to sales and category teams

6) Programs & Initiatives Management

  • Support execution of key country innitiatives
  • Track execution effectiveness and ROI
  • Ensure programs are properly localized and executed in Mexico

7) Executive Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and deliver:
    • Executive summaries
    • Business performance reports
    • Strategic recommendations
  • Provide clear and concise storytelling to leadership:
    • Highlighting business status
    • Risks and opportunities
    • Required actions



Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
